Samples are collected, identified, documented, and handled in accordance with client instructions to maintain an accurate record of the inspection process.

 

Silver Nitrate Testing

 

Where appropriate, silver nitrate testing may be performed to assist in determining whether packaging or cargo has been exposed to saltwater contamination. When field testing is available, qualified personnel may perform the testing at the inspection location. Where requested, representative samples can be collected, documented, and submitted for laboratory analysis in accordance with client instructions.
